How long can I have the bouncy castle for ?
The bouncy castle is yours for the day. Inflatable’s and Garden Games are delivered in the morning, the time depends on how busy we are that day. Collections are then made in the evening, again depending on how many bouncy castles we are picking up and what time you need it to. We try to be as flexible as possible and work around times that are convenient with you.
Do I need to provide anything ?
Only access to a power supply. We will bring all necessary equipment with us. This will include the bouncy castle or bouncy slide that you have hired, ground sheets, safety mats, extension leads and circuit breakers and the inflation fan. Our extension leads are 25m long, please tell us if the bouncy castle will be further away from an electricity supply than this. We can provide a longer extension lead.
Can the bouncy castle be inflated indoors ?
Yes, our bouncy castles can be inflated indoors, we will provide sandbags to weigh the bouncy castle down. You will need to check the ceiling height of the venue and just let us know.
We can't control the weather. If it is absolutely pouring with rain on the day of your party, and you wish to cancel the booking, this is no problem. There will be no charge for cancellation. It doesn't happen very often, but sometimes the weather just isn't very cooperative!
Can adults go on the bouncy castle ?
Our standard bouncy castles and bouncy slides are suitable for children up to the age of 13, and will not withstand the weight of an adult. When adults bounce on children's bouncy castles, they put too much stress on the seams damaging the material and stitching. Their weight will make them sink too far into the bed of the bouncy castle so it will be difficult to bounce and not much fun anyway.
Yes, Bouncy Fun 4 U has public liability insurance up to £5m. This insurance covers the bouncy castle or bouncy slide and our workmanship when erecting the bouncy castle or bouncy slide. We will issue you with a set of Health and Safety instructions and point out any possible danger areas such as washing lines etc. Once we have left the site the responsibility for the supervision of the bouncy castle or bouncy slide and the safety of the users rests with you the hirer. Should you wish to take out your own short term public liability insurance for your event, In most cases domestic hire is covered by your own house insurance. Please contact your insurers if you are unsure.
Can I collect the bouncy castle and set it up myself ?
No, sorry. Our public liability insurance would be invalidated. Our operative will deliver the bouncy castle or bouncy slide and set it all up for you. You don't need to do anything other than have a great time at your party. We will then come and collect the bouncy castle at the time agreed with you.

Bouncy Fun 4 U takes great pride in the top quality service it provides. Once your booking has been made, you can rest assured that your bouncy castle will arrive as requested. One of our operatives will telephone you the day before your party to confirm the booking and check the booking details with you. Should you need to change any part of your booking at any time, please don't hesitate to contact us.
What do I need to do on the day ?
We will need clear access to the place you would like the bouncy castle or bouncy slide situated. The bouncy castle or bouncy slide will be wheeled to the location on a trolley. Please tell us at the time of booking if you have any narrow access ways, a torturous route or there are lots of steps to the location and we will advise you from there. If your car will be parked on the driveway to your house, please make sure you have left enough room for us to wheel the bouncy castle past. If we are in any doubt about the size of the gap, we may ask you to move your car rather than risk squeezing the trolley past the paintwork of your car!
Can I switch the fan off if the party has finished ?
Yes, just switch off the power and unplug the extension lead from your socket. Please be aware that the bouncy castle or bouncy slide will deflate very quickly, make sure that there is nobody on the bouncy castle or bouncy slide when you switch it off. Please do not allow anybody to walk on the bouncy castle or bouncy slide once it is deflated, this also causes damage to the bouncy castle.
How long does it take to set the bouncy castle up ?
We usually allow 15-20 minutes to safely set up the bouncy castle or bouncy slide.
My garden is on a slope, can I still have a bouncy castle ?
Please advise us at the time of booking if your garden is unlevel, it may be necessary for one of our operatives to visit your garden prior to your party to tell you if it is suitable for bouncy castle or bouncy slide hire.
We live outside your free delivery area, can I still have a bouncy castle ?
We do deliver to a reasonable distance outside our free delivery area, but a delivery charge of £0.75 per extra mile outside of our FREE 20 miles delivery zone.
Can we have a bouncy castle, whatever the weather ?
The equipment to be erected and anchored in accordance with the manufactures instructions and should not be used in severely high winds or wet conditions contravening manufacturer guidelines. Customers should make regular checks to ensure stakes are firmly in the ground.
Do we need to prepare the area ?
The site should be cleared of any hazards such as, glass and stones etc. and open sides of the inflatable should be well cushioned, if there is no provision for this in the design of the inflatable.
Can we wear shoes on the bouncy castles ?
No shoes, jewellery, spectacles, sharp objects of any nature, which could cause injury or damage to the unit, should not be worn on the inflatable. No food or drink to be taken onto the equipment, and also no spray string or foam. Do not write or mark the inflatable in any way.
What age group can use the inflatable’s ?
Do not exceed the manufacturers recommended maximum age of person to use the equipment and never exceed the maximum number of people recommended by the manufacturers. NO ADULTS on the inflatable, unless stated.
Should kids play without supervision ?
Ensure that the equipment is supervised at all times and any boisterous behaviour is stopped. Do not allow anyone to sit on the side, climb, swing or hang from the walls and beams of the inflatable.
What happens if I damage an inflatable ?
Any damage to equipment caused by misuse or neglect, or loss due to removal by non-authorised persons, shall deem the hirer/operator liable for full repair or replacement costs and loss of business.
Do you carry Public Liability Insurance ?
Yes Bouncy Fun 4 U carries £15million pounds in full Public Liability Insurance.
Can you provide an Invoice / Receipt for my hire ?
Yes we run everything 100% above board and so yes should you need a receipt or invoice simply let us know and one will be taken alone on delivery.
What hire period do the rates on the website cover ?
The rate reflect a days hire
How much space do I need to leave for the castle ?
There must be a minimum of an additional 4ft at the back of the castle (for the blower and easy access)and 3ft at the front, we also recommend that there is an additional 2ft on either side of the castle. Please also ensure that there is enough room to bring the castle to the area where you would like it set up, as a trolley is used.
Do you do both indoor & outdoor events ?

Is VAT applicable or included to the prices on the site ?
No, being a small business VAT is not applicable and so the prices you see on the website are the prices you pay.
Are there any booking charges or cancellation fees ?
No a booking deposit is not required, and cancellations or re-scheduled bookings are allowed via phone up until 2hrs before the start of your booking date at NO CHARGE Please note that there is a £20.00 fee if you cancel at the door.
Do you require a deposit on the day I hire your facilities ?
No we don't take a deposit, but you will be charged if the Inflatable/Giant Games are damaged or dirty, See our terms and conditions for more details.
Can you provide supervisors for my event ?
Yes with sufficient notice a supervisor can be provided for £40 for up to 3 hours or £60 for up to 6 hours
When is payment due and which methods do you accept ?
Payment is required at the start of your booking via cash.
When do you require the payment ?
A Payment can be paid by either CASH on the day, Or by CHEQUE 10 days before Hire Date by post.
How safe are the castles that you supply?
Very safe. All our castles are NEW and in great condition and are covered with Public Liability Insurance. Padded safety mats and an extra long extension lead are also both supplied with bookings that require them.
What time do you deliver and collect the castles ?
Deliveries and collections times are flexible, although typically delivery is made between 8am to 10am and collections made from 5:30pm to 9.30 in the summer months. Earlier in the winter months due to sun light.
Can I have a Bouncy Castle on a Hard Standing Surface ?
Due to the amount on Sand Bags required for a Bouncy Castle (over a ton of sand min. is required for a 12ft x 12ft Bouncy Castle out side), we only supply bouncy castles indoors, as not as many sand bags are required due to no wind etc. But we only supply Bouncy Castles outside when pegs can be used into the ground.
A days hire is up to a maximum of 6 hours.
